CompTIA Tech Career Academy

CompTIA Tech Career Academy offers an enhanced IT-Ready Technical Support Program designed to equip adults with the skills needed to launch their IT careers. The program combines comprehensive technical training for CompTIA A+ certification with essential soft skills development and career services.

One of the most effective ways to break into the tech industry is by starting on the help desk. This role allows aspiring technologists to build both technical proficiency and professional soft skills, laying a solid foundation for career growth. Additionally, help desk positions provide exposure to various IT disciplines, helping you identify potential areas of specialization as you progress in your career.

CompTIA Tech provides a supportive environment, offering mentoring, community-building opportunities, and access to academic advisers and instructors even outside of class hours. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all CompTIA Tech classes have transitioned from in-person sessions to our robust online learning platform.

Having run online classrooms for our technical support programs for over a year, we’ve refined our teaching methods to deliver high-quality education remotely. We are confident in our ability to continue offering excellent training to students, whether online or in a traditional classroom setting.

Classes are held Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, over the course of eight weeks. The program is intensive, but this boot camp format is designed to quickly and thoroughly prepare you for a successful tech career.

CompTIA Tech is committed to helping individuals with little to no IT experience not only secure their first IT job but also lay the groundwork for a long and successful career in technology. We are also dedicated to making tech careers accessible, offering tuition support through grants for qualifying students because we believe that anyone with the passion and drive to succeed in tech should have the opportunity to do so
